About This Role
The Solar Foreman is responsible for supervising and managing solar installation teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating job site activities, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations, and providing leadership to installation crews. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in solar installations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and provide electrical expertise on a solar installation crew while completing quality installations based upon design specificationsO
• rganize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframesA
• bility to read and understand blueprints, CAD drawings ETC.E
• ffectively manage all aspects of the construction workflowI
• nstall conduit and wiring in compliance with NEC and local codes in a professional mannerD
• emonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to photovoltaic installations and enforce safety practices and standardsA
• nalyze and resolve worker problems and recommend solutionsA
• ble to install and commission energy systems on roofs including array layout, and mounting hardware based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectationsA
• ble to work with operations leadership on continuous improvement and development of processes and peopleO

ob Qualifications:2
• + years residential solar experienceA
• bility to safely handle power tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.E
• xcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsA
• bility to install residential solar PV system from start to finish including all phases of the installationT
• he ideal candidate will have both solar installation and electrical experience, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and maintain a high work ethicK
• nowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standardsU
• nderstand of battery backup systems (Enphase)A
• bility to understand or have experience in Electrical Panels including Sub Panels (MBD derate, conduit bending, relocating circuits, etc.)A
• dheres to company safety policies and procedures including ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safelyA
• bility to troubleshoot an inverter that is reporting production lossA
• bility to work in extreme environments (hot, humid, rain, etc.)A
• bility to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses and other personal protective equipmentM
• ust be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements and have valid driver's license while maintaining a clean driving recordP
hysical Requirements:A
• bility to withstand heights, be on roofs, and climb ladders (Daily)A
• bility to lift 50-75+ lbs. routinely (Daily)A
• bility to work in 0-100+ degree weather, as well as in wet, dry and humid conditionsA
• bility to move around for prolonged periods. standing, kneeling, bending, Squat and climbing ladders (Daily)8
