Solar Field Technician Assistant

Job Description

This is a field-based position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. The role supports the mechanical scope and requires hands-on activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assists with string line installation, laser alignment, and pile shakeout processes.
• Participates in pile installation, remediation, tracker shakeout, slew gear installation, torque tube installation, drive line installation, motor installation, huck & BOM, MIB, damper, module staging, module installation, tracker QA/QC, module QA/QC, and SPC controller tasks.
Requirements:
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and conduct repetitive actions such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods and follow precise instructions while receiving feedback.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with colleagues and supervisors.
• Experience working on construction projects preferred.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits, and be exposed to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.
Education:
• GED or equivalent education preferred.
• Eligible to promote to General Labor II after 60 days of Labor I experience AND meets leadership expectations in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, and positive attitude.*
