Job Overview

The Solar Farm Land Acquisition Manager/Coordinator is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land for solar farm projects. This role requires strong negotiation skills to secure lease agreements with landowners, effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and sales skills, as well as a deep understanding of Queensland's local communities and land acquisition processes.

Key Responsibilities

Land Acquisition & Site Selection
• Identify and assess potential sites for solar farm development.
• Conduct due diligence on land parcels, including zoning, environmental constraints, and permitting requirements.
• Negotiate lease agreements with landowners, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners and local communities.
• Present project benefits and address concerns raised by landowners and community representatives.

Project Coordination & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of all land acquisition activities, contracts, and correspondence.
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.

Key Skills & Requirements

✅ Strong negotiation and contract management skills to effectively secure land deals.
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with landowners and stakeholders.
✅ Local expertise: Candidates preferably reside in Queensland (QLD) and are familiar with local community culture.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and land management software.
✅ Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and stakeholder meetings.

Job Types: Casual, Contract

Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
