Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Solar Engineer at Daylight Energy. The Solar Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as designing solar power systems including PV design, electrical design, and other related solar industry projects. While the role is based in Nehrunagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, some remote work is acceptable.

Key responsibilities
• Create detailed designs and layouts for residential photovoltaic systems.
• Perform shade analysis, system sizing, and energy production estimations.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, site plans, and wiring schematics.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, NEC standards, and permit requirements.
• Collaborate with the internal team and project managers to deliver optimized designs.
• Utilize software tools like Aurora, PV Syst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD for system design and analysis.
• Perform quality assurance checks on designs to minimize errors and rework.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in solar PV design

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Certifications in solar or electrical design are a plus
• PV Design and Electrical Design skills
• Experience with Aurora, OpenSolar, Helioscope, PVWatts preferred
• Solar electrical single line design experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with renewable energy projects

Schedule:
• Day shift and Afternoon shift
• Monday to Friday

• Performance bonus
