Solar Energy Sales Consultant

Sun Gold Power Inc is hiring a Solar Energy Sales Consultant in Irvine, CA. Candidates should have a background in physics or engineering and renewable energy. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, driving sales, providing order updates, and maintaining product knowledge. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience are required. The position involves office work with physical demands such as sitting and occasional lifting.
Job Summary:

We are seeking candidates with a background in physics or or engineering as well as renewable energy to assist clients and businesses with the sales process as well as basic level product knowledge of our Solar Products.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States. We are currently unable to sponsor any work visa.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle Customer Inquiries: Respond to client inquiries via phone and email. Provide product information, pricing, and delivery details.
• Drive Sales: Create relationships with clients and utilize sales soft skills to finalize negotiations. Network with vendors and businesses to create relationships vital to conducting sales.
• Order Status Updates: Provide customers with accurate order status, shipping information, help resolve shipping issues with FedEx or other carriers and online product tracking.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of all the Company's solar power products.
• Product Onboarding: May be eventually expected to assist clients with solar system set up inquiries with engineer support and ability to forecast inventory.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the potential cause of the problem, and working with the technical engineer team to help identify possible solutions.
• Feedback Collection: Collect customer feedback and liaise with the manufacturing and quality control teams to improve product and service delivery.
• Office Knowledge: Willing to learn new applications. Proficient in Microsoft 365, computer and internet. Will train on company ERP systems.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering or Physics degree required! Must have a technical background and a strong command of physics and solar energy.
• Work Experience: 3 years of customer service and order fulfillment or directly related experience is required.
• Sales Experience : Any experience in sales and building trusting relationships with clients and negotiating deals.
• Excellent communication skills while dealing with clients in a professional and respectful manner during calls.
• Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems and practices.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual is a plus!

Compensation
• Hourly: $24-$27 PLUS COMMISSION, employees can enjoy free electric vehicle charging as a benefit.

Physical and Environmental Elements

Physical Demands: This position entails, with or without reasonable accommodation, sitting in a stationary position 90% of the day, occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl while maintaining files in the cabinets. Ability to possibly lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to talk, hear and communicate information so others understand.

Must be able to read and analyze information on a computer screen with or without reasonable accommodation.

Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment such as a desk phone, calculator, computer and printer.
