New Jersey Resources is seeking a Solar Contract Closeout Coordinator in Wall Township, NJ. The role involves managing project deliverables related to EPC contracts and PPAs, coordinating meetings, tracking project issues, and collaborating with various departments. Candidates should have an associate's degree or equivalent experience in construction administration or solar projects, along with strong organizational and communication skills. This position is not remote and offers flexible work schedules.

The Closeout Coordinator will drive forward all required deliverables in line with the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract, PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), AIA Pay Application and Milestone Dates, Closeout document organization and turnover to O&M (Operations and Maintenance) Plan, manage, maintain, and report progress of the projects on a weekly basis. Work as a conduit for all EPC requests from finance, business development, procurement, AP, and legal.
Major Responsibilities
• Coordinate weekly Project Manager closeout meetings .
• Develop and manage checklists for Mechanical Completion, Substantial Completion, and Final Completion.
• Track, manage and prioritize project-related issues.
• Monitor and effectively respond to team needs and potential problems.
• Collaborates with other departments to gather required documentation and deliverables, including specs, warranty assignments, drawings, testing reports, permits, photos etc.
• Upload all deliverables onto Procore, Box or any customer/client ftp sites.
• Attend weekly project construction meetings, document EPC requests, call attendee list and escalated project information as needed
• Gather approvals, signatures and notarize (when applicable) payment applications, lien waivers, change orders, EPC contracts, subcontracts, and milestone certificates.
• Monitor and follow up on scheduling, budget, and other requests from other departments (i.e. Development, O&M and Legal).
• Maintain up-to-date project status checklists through regular communication with the Project Manager and Contract Supervisor
• Ensure timely and complete delivery of projects deliverables.
• Support Project Managers and customers/clients throughout the project life cycle.
• Facilitate the transfer of Care, Custody & Control to the O&M department (when applicable)
• Manage and prioritize workload to meet various timelines.
• Responsible for EPC to O&M handoff upon project completion.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Prior work in construction administration or management, solar project background or combined equivalent
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Working knowledge of computer-based software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues
• Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast paced setting
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $59,000- $75,200.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
