Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our product development team at Amber Electric Pty. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support our mission to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop high-quality software components across the stack
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products
- Research, analyze, and evaluate system requirements to inform technical decisions
- Test, debug, and diagnose errors in our tech stack according to operational specifications
- Support the app throughout its lifecycle, from idea to production

- This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, but we're open to considering the right candidate anywhere within Australia

Requirements

- 3-5 years of commercial development experience in Web or Mobile environments
- Experience with languages sharing features with Typescript (such as JavaScript, C#, Go, or similar) is a strong plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainability
