Job Description
The Society for Experiential Graphic Design is seeking an Intermediate Designer for their Seattle-based studio, Studio SC. This full-time, hybrid role involves project design, documentation, and collaboration within a team. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience, with skills in Adobe software and AutoCAD preferred. The position emphasizes creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Studio SC is looking for a highly motivated Intermediate Designer to join our collaborative and conceptually-driven environmental graphic design studio.

Your experience in environmental graphic design, typography, and design documentation, and your meticulous attention to detail and self-motivation are important to you in delivering high quality solutions for graphic communication projects.

THE ROLE
• Lead and assist with project design conceptualization, development, and implementation.
• Lead and assist with project design documentation, sign location plans, message schedules, and detailing for fabrication.
• Lead and assist with project workflow process.
• Build contacts and relationships with design team members, fabricators, and other industry individuals.
This role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires the candidate to be available to work out of our studio in Seattle with some travel to project sites.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, architecture, or industrial design is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a designer at a design/advertising agency.
• Candidates must be proficient in Apple Macintosh based Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp are a plus.
