The role involves providing technical support and formulation consulting to U.S. distributors and clients, conducting training, analyzing market trends, and assisting with product testing. Job Responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Formulation Consulting

•Provide technical support on skincare ingredients to U.S. distributors and their clients, including cosmetic brands and OEM/ODM manufacturers.

•Offer professional formulation recommendations based on client needs, assisting them in optimizing product formulations to enhance efficacy and stability.

•Interpret the technical features, application methods, and market advantages of the company’s ingredients, providing relevant experimental data and test reports.

2. Distributor Communication & Training

•Serve as the technical bridge between the company and distributors, promptly addressing inquiries regarding ingredient applications, regulatory compliance, and stability testing.

• Regularly conduct online/offline technical training to enhance distributors’ understanding of products and improve their sales capabilities.

• Assist distributors with client technical discussions and support the marketing team in developing targeted solutions.

3. Market Technical Support

•Gather insights into U.S. skincare industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer feedback, analyzing technical requirements and providing optimisation recommendations.

•Monitor the technical features of competitors’ ingredients and help formulate market competition strategies.

• Participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry events to showcase the company’s technical advantages and enhance brand influence.

4. Product Testing & Application Research

• Assist distributors and their clients in conducting product testing, tracking progress, and interpreting experimental data.

• Provide feedback on test results to customers and collaborate with the R&D team to optimize product formulations for better market adaptability.

• Organize customer case studies, compile technical documentation, and support the company’s marketing and product promotion efforts.

Job Requirements

1. Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Material Science, or related fields preferred.

• Prior experience in skincare ingredient or formulation development is a plus.

2. Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of the functions, applications, and stability testing of skincare ingredients.

• Hands-on experience in formulation development and ingredient compatibility research to provide professional recommendations.

• Familiarity with U.S. cosmetic regulations, such as FDA and MoCRA, is preferred.

3. Communication & Support

• Bilingual in Mandarin and English is a plus, being able to communicate fluently in both languages with distributors and clients.

•Ability to conduct training and clearly explain ingredient properties and formulation applications to distributors and customers.

• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to respond quickly to client needs and provide efficient technical support.

4. Market Awareness

• Knowledge of global skincare industry trends, with familiarity in mainstream skincare ingredients and formulations in the Americas market.

• Ability to analyze industry developments and customer needs to propose effective solutions.
