About the position

DEPCOM Power is seeking a Site Technician to support our Searcy Solar site located in Arkansas. This position requires the Technician to report to the site daily to perform inspections and maintenance of the equipment on the solar field. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections of site equipment, which includes inverters, transformers, modules, trackers, weather stations, and soil monitoring solutions. You will maintain records and documentation of site activities, visitors, substation work, battery logs, and generator operation. Coordination with component manufacturers for troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance will also be part of your duties. Daily field sweeps will be necessary to verify that tracker systems are functioning properly and to replace any faulty components. Ensuring site safety for all personnel and equipment is paramount, as is performing testing and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical systems. You will also conduct inverter inspections and cleaning, filter and fuse replacements, and perform scheduled array inspections of the home runs, modules, and tracker systems.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Electrical knowledge gained through working experience, military, or post high school education.

Nice-to-haves
• 1+ years of experience with PV systems or related power generation equipment.
