Site Survey Technician

Skyline Solar is hiring a Site Survey Technician in Wallingford, CT. The role involves measuring roof dimensions, evaluating electrical equipment, and assessing structural integrity to support design teams in creating permit-ready documents. The technician will communicate with customers and the internal team, addressing inquiries about solar installations. This is a full-time position with no degree required.
• Obtain and communicate the necessary project information (roof dimensions, evaluate electrical equipment and determine where to land the solar breaker, and determine property's structural integrity) to design team for the preparation of permit ready documents. Primary external interface and communication will be with potential customers and internal team.
• Measure and document roof dimensions and obstructions
• Measure and document attic structure
• Document electrical type and condition; determine where to land PV breaker
• Answer questions and concerns from customer about going solar
