Site Labourer

MCR Property Group is hiring a Site Labourer in Aylesbury, UK. The role involves providing general labour support on construction sites, including loading materials, cleaning work areas, and following safety protocols. Candidates should be physically fit and have a valid CSCS card or be willing to obtain one. The position offers a salary of £26,000 per year, with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. This is a site-based role with no remote work options.

Our primary focus lies in developing new residential and industrial projects while managing a diverse portfolio that includes approximately 5,000 residential plots and commercial/industrial assets exceeding £2 billion in value.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide general labour support to site
• Load and unload building materials and distribute to appropriate locations
• Remove rubbish and building material from work areas
• Dig trenches, backfill holes etc. to prepare for construction
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Assist with basic measurements and marking positions
• Report any hazards or safety concerns to site management

Required Experience & Qualifications
• Previous construction site experience preferred but not essential for right candidate
• Valid CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one)
• Understanding of basic construction site safety procedures
• Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual labour
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Physically demanding role requiring lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
• Must adhere to all site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
