Job Summary of Shuttle Transport Driver:

Sysco is looking for new team members to efficiently handle a tractor-trailer, transporting multiple trailers between Sysco sites and shuttle yards. Other duties may include occasional unloading and distributing various products to customer destinations as per a designated route schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Shuttle Transport Driver:
• Operate a tractor-trailer to move sets of trailers back and forth between Sysco sites and shuttle yards.
• Conduct thorough assessments of the vehicle before departure and after reaching your final stop.
• It is important to obey traffic laws and adhere to safety regulations to maintain compliance.
• Support the transfer of merchandise as needed for loading and unloading purposes.
• Preserve precise documentation of both delivery activities and vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Providing outstanding customer support can enhance the delivery experience for clients.
• Collaborate with coworkers to promote efficient functioning.
• Compliance with Sysco’s regulations and processes must be maintained at all times.

Qualifications and Experience of Shuttle Transport Driver:
• To buy alcoholic beverages, individuals need to be at least 21 years of age.
• Has a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and a record free of driving violations.
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred.
• Capacity to lift, push, or manipulate items weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Preference is given to candidates with prior commercial driving experience, though it is not mandatory.
