Job Description:
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Fluence is seeking a regional Service Sales Manager to drive top-line revenue growth across Fluence Services. You will be the primary person responsible for identifying new opportunities to sell Fluence service products and assisting our regional deal teams in contracting conventional service contracts.
In this role, you will need to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Additionally, experience in asset management and a strong understanding of the energy services market will be beneficial to achieving success in this role.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Understand Fluence regional growth strategy and execute according to that strategy.
• Delivery of annual aligned service sales targets in the region.
• Engage with key customers to identify new service opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial and technical aspects of customer contract(s).
• Analyze the market, ensuring pricing strategies align with profitability goals while remaining competitive
• Lead the development of new service sales tools and support materials
• Establish sales reports as required in line with procedures and business plan.
• Own data quality for all service sales items in SalesForce
• Present to customers/partners & at events to communicate Service’s value propositions.
• Develop network and market knowledge of relevant electricity grids/markets
WHAT WILL OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE BRING TO FLUENCE?
• >10 years of experience in Sales roles with a focus on the energy sector, preferably energy storage, clean tech, or renewables

• Strong interpersonal skills; able to build and manage strong relationships with team, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners
• Possess an entrepreneurial drive for getting things done and a “whatever it takes” attitude. Exhibit a forward leaning posture, high ownership, and diligent pursuit of new opportunities.
• Ability to work dynamically and cross functionally within teams spanning both the regional organization and the Service team in a fast-moving technical business environment.
• Intercultural awareness
• Strong communicator and relationship builder who give / earn trust and respect of the client team and internal project, engineering, commissioning and business administrators as well as external partners and contributors
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Speaking Mandarin is a plus
