EMM Consulting is seeking a Senior/Associate Environmental Scientist in Sydney, NSW, to lead renewable energy projects and environmental approvals. The role involves project management, collaboration with industry leaders, and supporting the development of innovative environmental strategies. Our national Environmental Planning & Approvals team work on a diverse range of renewable energy, resources and infrastructure projects bringing innovative approaches to approvals strategy, impact assessment, cumulative assessments, as well as the communication of complex scientific matters. We have deep expertise and delivering pioneering approaches that deliver high quality outcomes for clients and communities.
We’re working on some of the cleanest and greenest renewables projects in the country and with a healthy pipeline of projects ahead of us, we have exciting opportunities for an experienced Environmental Scientist with a sound understanding of NSW planning legislation and the delivery of environmental impact assessments. Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact
• A minimum of 7 years plus experience in environmental management, environmental impact assessments and approvals
• An understanding of relevant NSW State and Commonwealth legislation
• Experienced in the delivery of projects across either Energy or Infrastructure
• Project management skills that have helped to achieve high quality delivery outcomes for approvals
