Overview A growing renewable energy services provider is seeking a Senior Wind Turbine Technician / Supervisor to lead and support field operations across a portfolio of onshore wind assets. This is a primarily remote role focused on team leadership, operational coordination, and performance improvement, with occasional site visits as required.


Role Summary
This position is centred on managing and developing a team of wind turbine technicians, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and delivery. While the role is predominantly leadership-focused, you will also remain technically involved, providing hands-on support when required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of field-based wind turbine techniciansOversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, and resource allocationAct as the key link between field teams and senior leadershipProvide technical guidance and support on complex faults and maintenance issuesOccasionally attend site to support critical works or escalationsDrive improvements in turbine performance, availability, and service deliveryEnsure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and industry regulationsSupport training, competency development, and performance managementCollaborate with planning, logistics, and engineering teams
Requirements
Strong background in wind turbine operations and maintenanceExperience supervising or leading technician teamsStrong technical knowledge of large wind turbine systemsAbility to manage teams remotely and coordinate multiple sitesExcellent communication and organisational skills
