Description:
Terraphase Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in one of our California, Nevada, or Oregon offices. As a Senior Water Resources Engineer at Terraphase, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing water resource projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and addressing complex water-related issues.
The Role
• Lead and manage water resources projects, from planning and design through to construction and completion.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis, and simulations.
• Develop and implement sustainable water management solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in stormwater management, flood control, water quality, and watershed management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documents.
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
Who You Are
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources engineering.
• Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, FLO-2D).
• Strong knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
• Design/AutoCAD skills are a plus.

Salary
Compensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location with a range of $105,000.00 to $155,000.00.
