Job Description

Senior Urban Planner Position

This senior-level position involves leading the planning and design efforts on various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, exceptional leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
• Oversee the planning and design process to ensure compliance with owner standards, IMEG standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project deliverables, including progress reports and final presentations.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and issue resolution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as planning, architecture, or landscape architecture.
• At least 7 years of experience in urban planning, with a minimum of 8 years preferred.
• AICP certification highly valued.
• Superior leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
