Job Description

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst in Northwest Territories, Canada. The role involves cash flow management, month-end closing, reporting and analysis, financial risk management, and driving operational improvements. Candidates should have a degree in Finance or related fields, with 5+ years of treasury experience and strong analytical skills. The position requires effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
The Senior Treasury Analyst will report to the Treasurer and will collaborate closely with the Corporate Finance, Shared Services, and Operational teams to maintain and streamline treasury operations and payment activity across legal entities and business divisions to best serve the growing business needs.

Primary Scope of Role

This position will be responsible for and / or collaborate to fulfill a variety of functions, such as :
• Cash flow management : handling the internal cash flow, daily monitoring of cash balance and liquidity position companywide, liaising with banking partners for day-to-day requests.
• Month end closing : performing monthly reconciliation of banking activity, assisting with treasury month end closings and reconciliation of lease payments, preparing and uploading month end journal entries to related transactions in ERP system for approvals.
• Reporting and analysis : reporting of cash balance and liquidity including assisting with weekly and monthly cash flow forecast reporting, preparing reports for senior management and performing valuation analysis.
• Financial risk management : identifying and assessing risks and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Continuous improvement : collaborating with shared services to drive initiatives that implement operational efficiency and optimization in areas such as compliance, data management & documentation, business integration and M&A transactions.

Position Requirements
• University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation is an asset.
• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in cash management and treasury operations, business processes or finance-related processes.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills (preferably Marquee Group, CFI or Training the Street) and general competence with Microsoft Office programs.
• Outcome-focused, critical thinker with strong ability to anticipate risks and plan / execute early actions to preserve integrity of the treasury operation in the context of rapid growth and business expansion.
• Sound organizational, analytical, judgment and decision-making skills with proven abilities in problem-solving.
• Detailed oriented individual with strong motivation of exceeding expectations when delivering results.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deliverables.
• Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
• Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
