Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team in the City of Gresham, OR. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and engineering technicians in the design and delivery of transportation capital projects.

About the Role:
• Lead a team of six engineers and engineering technicians in the design and delivery of locally and Federally funded transportation capital projects.
• Maintain local agency certification and ensure compliance with regulations and processes pertinent to being a certified local agency.
• Provide expert guidance regarding design of the transportation system to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead planning and implementation of construction and engineering projects.

Required Qualifications:
• Oregon Professional Engineer (PE) registration or able to obtain it within 60 days of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (i.e., Civil, Environmental, or related field).
• Three (3) to six (6) years of related experience with project management in transportation engineering.
