Senior Technical Trainer – Energy Audit and Energy Management

SolX Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer for Energy Audit and Energy Management in Makati City, Philippines. Responsibilities include delivering online lectures, developing learning materials, creating digital assets, and evaluating learner outputs. Candidates must be Certified Energy Managers and Auditors with at least 7 years of experience in energy management and training. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule but requires in-person work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver live online lectures, workshops, and Q and A sessions aligned with approved learning outcomes.
• Develop, review, and update learning materials including slide decks, facilitator notes, case studies, computation exercises, and answer keys.
• Create and record lecture videos and other digital learning assets for assigned modules, following RTI quality standards.
• Prepare and administer assessments (quizzes, practical exercises, post-tests) and evaluate learner outputs using rubrics.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and recommend reinforcement topics or supplementary materials as needed.
• Participate in content calibration and post-training reviews to improve course quality, scoring consistency, and learner outcomes.
• Submit required session documentation on time and observe confidentiality and RTI policies on conduct and content use.

Qualifications:

Minimum:
• Must be a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) in good standing (active and valid).
• Able to present supporting proof of certification and validity, as required by the RTI.
• Ability to handle confidential records and maintain organized filing systems.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in energy management, energy efficiency, and energy auditing, with strong field

application.
• Demonstrated involvement in multiple energy audit engagements, which may include:

o Walkthrough and detailed audits

o Data logging and measurement planning

o Load profiling, power quality analysis, and demand assessment

o Identification and quantification of energy conservation measures (ECMs)

o Simple and investment grade calculations (savings, payback, IRR or NPV where applicable)

o Measurement and Verification (M and V) fundamentals and reporting
• At least 2 years of experience in training, lecturing, facilitation, or structured technical coaching (corporate, academic, or professional

programs).
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to adult learners and respond effectively to questions.
• Strong working knowledge of energy management and audit topics commonly covered in certification tracks, which may include:

o Energy planning and policy, energy review, and performance indicators

o Baselines, normalization, and energy performance tracking

o Energy audit process, audit tools, and audit reporting

o HVAC, compressed air, motors and drives, pumps and fans

o Lighting systems and controls

o Boilers, steam, and thermal systems (as applicable)

o Building systems and industrial processes (as applicable)

o Basic electrical system fundamentals and tariff interpretation

o Energy conservation measures identification, sizing, and savings computation
• Proficient in using spreadsheets for computations, templates, and audit summary tables.

Preferred
• Familiarity with Philippine energy efficiency and conservation compliance environment, including reporting concepts relevant to DOE programs and regulated facilities.
