The Senior Sustainability Analyst at White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC in Atmore, AL will drive the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program, ensuring data integrity and compliance with frameworks. Responsibilities include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, analyzing sustainability reports, educating stakeholders, and supporting leadership on sustainability initiatives. Job Summary

Responsible for accelerating the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program objectives and ensuring data integrity. Ensures that White Cap associates make conscious decisions, informed by our values and commitments, to act as responsible corporate citizens and that we publish accurate and timely ESG data, in line with established frameworks, to our external stakeholders.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
• Identify and prioritize initiatives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) within White Cap's sales process, logistics operations, and support functions. Collaborate with internal experts to determine optimal strategies for operational improvements and emissions reductions while ensuring customer service levels are maintained or enhanced.
• Assess industry best practices and regulatory frameworks to define requirements, obtain commitments from internal data providers, collect and validate information, and synthesize data for reporting.
• Provide analysis, narrative, and presentation materials for various sustainability reports, including White Cap's annual report, regulatory disclosures, lender/bondholder reports, executive and board-level presentations, and ratings agencies.
• Educate key internal stakeholders in various departments about current and future ESG initiatives and regulations that will impact processes.
• Establish and maintain an intranet presence, host update meetings, and gather feedback from stakeholders to raise awareness of ESG initiatives within the company.
• Support senior leadership in adopting commercial sustainability initiatives. Propose new commercialization ideas by researching market developments in adjacent industries and collaborating with bankers and external ESG advisors.
• Develop initiatives that may include marketing environmentally preferable products and providing customers with enhanced emissions disclosures.
• Maintain detailed records of company ESG data, including GHG emissions, policies, and associate data in an audit-ready environment.
Nature and Scope
• Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
• Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
• May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.

Work Environment
• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
Preferred Qualifications
• Two (2) years' experience in advising and managing ESG impact reports, materiality analysis, and implementation of sustainability data.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and reporting.
