Job Description
This exciting career opportunity is pivotal to the development, implementation and governance of NRMA’s ESG strategy and climate targets, responsible for providing robust analysis to support business decision and enable accountability for sustainability outcomes across the group. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Group Environmental Sustainability, you will be responsible for end-to-end data collection, management, analysis, presentation/ storytelling and reporting. You will play a vital role in building NRMA’s sustainability reporting capability, processes and tools, as well as executing carbon accounting and supporting analysis in line with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards.
What You'll Do
• Lead the collation and preparation of data and reporting outputs for various local and international ESG / Sustainability frameworks.
• Analyse data to identify trends, outliers, anomalies and insights relevant to strategic ESG and commercial business objectives
• Build models and conduct ad-hoc analysis to determine environmental, financial and operational impacts of business decisions
• Develop and present effective data visualisations (e.g., graphs, dashboards, and reports) to communicate findings effectively to both expert and non-expert audiences
• Distil analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders, helping to create a ‘shared understanding’ of performance and risks, to accelerate decisions/action and de-risk decarbonisation efforts
• Coach and mentor business unit stakeholders to ensure learnings and outcomes are disseminated throughout the NRMA Group.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 5-8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Finance Analyst, Sustainability Analyst, or similar
• Highly proficient in data management, analysis, modelling in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
• Ability to apply effective and mature judgement to data, insights and related decisions
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations
