Job Title: Senior Specialist – Programmes

The Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Specialist – Programmes to support the creation, design, implementation, and monitoring of studies and projects.

About CDRI:

CDRI is a partnership of national governments, UN agencies and programs, multilateral development banks and financing mechanisms, the private sector, and knowledge institutions that aims to promote the resilience of new and existing infrastructure systems to climate and disaster risks in support of sustainable development.

Mission:

To support countries to upgrade their systems to ensure disaster and climate resilience of existing and future infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Specialist – Programmes will support the development of strategies for technical assistance and cooperation, participate in programming and network activities, identify and prepare projects/technical assistance, monitor project implementation, ensure quality and consistency of reports, and contribute to planning and documenting team progress meetings.

Requirements:

A Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Transport Planning/Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Applied Sciences, Actuarial Sciences, or Economics, 8-10 years of experience in a relevant position, expertise in critical infrastructure domains, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in project management software and related applications are required.

Reporting Line:

The incumbent will report to the Lead Specialist or the appropriate role per the approved organizational structure.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required. Knowledge of any of the UN's official languages will be an asset.

Location:

CDRI Secretariat, New Delhi, India.

Contract Duration:

A Fixed Term Contract of 3 years, extendable for up to another 3 years.
