Job Summary : We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Solar Energy Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of solar energy projects across the US. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and a deep understanding of renewable energy systems and construction processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and adhere to budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement detailed project plans for solar tracker installations in concentrated solar projects, clearly defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Identify and assess potential risks, creating effective mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project delivery.
• Proactively address challenges that arise during project execution to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and exceed quality standards.
• Conduct ongoing performance evaluations of solar tracking systems, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary upgrades.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and maintenance protocols.
• Offer technical support and training to customers and internal team members.
• Remain informed about emerging industry trends and technologies to help maintain a competitive advantage.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of project management experience focusing on renewable energy projects.
• In-depth knowledge of solar tracker systems and construction processes.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects within construction firms.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and implement innovative project modifications effectively.
• Proficient in delivering projects on time and within budget constraints.
• Entrepreneurial mindset complemented by a comprehensive business perspective.
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and Wrike software, with experience presenting to Senior Leadership.
• Able to make decisive resolutions regarding project issues and prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to travel frequently as needed for project requirements.
