STX Group is seeking a Senior Sales Trader for Renewable Energy Credits in Houston, TX. The role involves expanding market reach, executing transactions, and developing client relationships in the US REC markets. Team & Role
The STX Renewable Energy Credit team aims to be a leader in US voluntary and compliance REC markets. As a senior member of the REC Sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our reach into these markets, growing purchase and sales volumes, and executing innovative deal structures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and nurture client relationships to increase purchase and sales volumes
• Execute REC transactions to grow purchase and sales volumes
• Define and execute innovative deal structures
• Collaborate with the Sales, Trading, Research & Analysis, and Origination teams to identify and capture new business opportunities
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years' experience trading US voluntary and compliance REC markets
• Established relationships with US REC market participants
• Knowledge of US REC market drivers and proven commercial acumen
• Motivated and Entrepreneurial
Compensation and Benefits
STX intends on offering the selected candidate a competitive base salary, based on a number of objective factors such as relevant experience, holistic skillset, and applicable licenses and certifications. The candidate may also be eligible for discretionary compensation as determined annually within the company fiscal year.
