PowerLink Energy ME-FZCO is hiring a Senior Sales Manager for their Hybrid Energy Solutions division in Dubai. The role involves driving sales of solar-battery-grid solutions for both grid-tied and off-grid systems across the Middle East and Africa. Key responsibilities include business development, solution engineering, and managing the sales cycle. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in solar PV or related fields, with strong technical and financial skills.
Senior Sales Manager – Hybrid Energy Solutions (Grid-tied & Off-grid)
Industry: Renewable Energy / Power Generation / Microgrids
Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Sales Manager to spearhead our Hybrid Energy division. You will drive the sales of integrated Solar-Battery-Grid solutions. This role covers two strategic pillars: C&I Peak Shaving (Grid-tied) for urban industries and Power Reliability (Off-grid) for remote mining, construction, and telecom sectors across the Middle East and Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development: Identify and close high-value opportunities for Grid-tied systems (focusing on peak shaving and energy cost reduction) and Off-grid systems (focusing on reliable power in remote areas).
Solution Engineering & ROI Analysis: Conduct site audits and energy load profiling. Develop technical proposals including LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) and ROI (Return on Investment) models to convince C-level executives.
Showroom Excellence: demonstrate real-time hybrid system performance to visiting delegations from Africa and the GCC.
Cross-Border Execution: Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to leveraging HFZA’s logistics benefits for rapid deployment into Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and African markets.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet local grid codes (e.g., SEWA, SEC) and international export standards.
Required Qualifications:
Self Motivated, Target Oritentation
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Hybrid Inverters (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Diesel Generator synchronization.
Proven Track Record: 5+ years of experience in solar PV, BESS, or power rental. Existing networks in C&I sectors or Mining/Oil & Gas in Africa are highly preferred.
Financial Literacy: Ability to translate complex engineering into financial benefits (OPEX savings, IRR, Payback period).
Cultural & Language Skills: Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a significant advantage for Saudi and West African market penetration.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
