Job Description
The Indian School of Public Policy is seeking a Senior Research Assistant in New Delhi. This full-time, in-office role involves advancing public health research, policy analysis, and project management, working closely with the Centre Director. Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in relevant fields and at least 3 years of experience. Responsibilities include technical writing, research in health systems, and engaging in donor meetings and presentations.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Research Officer at the Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP), you will play a crucial role in advancing public health research, policy analysis, and project management. Working closely with the Centre Director, you will contribute to high-impact projects and help shape national health programmes.
Join our team as a Senior Research Officer if you are passionate about driving impactful research in public health and policy and contribute to shaping the future of health systems in India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assist the Centre Director in technical writing and reviews for various projects
● Contribute to the preparation and presentation of the Annual Report
● Conduct research in health systems, public health management, health financing, and national health programmes
● Engage in donor meetings, project presentations, conferences, and media interactions
Qualification and Experience
● Post graduate degree in public health, community medicine, economics, public administration or an MD in Community Medicine, with a minimum of 3 years experience of research in health systems/public health management/health financing/ national health programmes
● Alternatively, a postgraduate degree in public policy with 3+ years of experience in health systems
● Strong analytical and writing skills
● Excellent communication and presentation abilities
● The candidate must be an Indian national
Terms of Appointment
● The appointment will be on basis of renewable annual contracts
● Probation period of 6 months will be applicable.
