Your Role:
• Supporting the growth of the Energy Systems team through external initiatives (business development and marketing) and internal initiatives (mentoring and peer review).
• Acting as energy engineering discipline lead as part of multidisciplinary projects including: solar photovoltaic rooftop, parking canopy, and ground-mount system design, as well as battery energy storage systems.
• Leading and mentoring junior energy engineering team in photovoltaic performance modelling (using PVSyst and/or Helio Scope) and in renewable energy system design.
• Performing peer review of renewable energy projects.
• Representing JLR and the Energy Systems Discipline in working with clients to guide, support and develop project solutions that meet their—and our planet’s—needs.
• Developing improved and more efficient modelling and analysis methodologies for energy project deliverables.
• Organizing the workload of technicians and junior engineers to ensure that project deadlines are met and final deliverables align with client expectations.
