Our client, a leader in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Renewable Energy Analyst for a fully remote position. This role is critical for evaluating, forecasting, and optimizing the performance of renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and battery storage systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of energy markets, and expertise in financial modeling and project viability assessment. Responsibilities include conducting detailed market research, analyzing policy landscapes, and identifying investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector. You will develop sophisticated financial models to assess project economics, perform sensitivity analysis, and forecast revenue streams. The Senior Renewable Energy Analyst will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of existing renewable energy projects, identifying performance deviations, and recommending corrective actions. Collaboration with internal teams, including project development, engineering, and finance, is essential to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a thorough understanding of energy technologies, grid operations, and regulatory frameworks governing renewable energy deployment. The successful candidate will be adept at communicating complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear reports and presentations. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in renewable energy analysis, project finance, or energy market consulting. Proficiency in Excel modeling, VBA, and data analysis tools is essential. Experience with renewable energy simulation software and a strong understanding of carbon markets are highly desirable.
