Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Controls Manager to join a landmark $1.5 billion greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing project located in North Carolina. This high-visibility CAPEX initiative is among the largest in the region and requires strong leadership in cost control, planning, and schedule performance to ensure predictable project outcomes.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and ongoing management of integrated cost, schedule, and progress control systems for the full lifecycle of the project.
• Develop project baselines and maintain forecasting processes to ensure budget and timeline predictability.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and CQV teams to drive alignment between execution plans and controls systems.
• Analyze variances and trends, prepare performance reports, and advise project leadership on corrective actions.
• Establish earned value metrics and project KPIs; manage change control procedures and risk registers.
• Ensure timely and accurate project reporting to stakeholders and support monthly progress review meetings.
• Work with planning teams to develop and maintain detailed schedules (Primavera P6 preferred).
• Manage vendor schedules, cost interfaces, and contribute to contractual performance tracking.

Key Requirements:
• 10+ years of project controls experience on large-scale pharmaceutical or industrial CAPEX projects (greenfield experience highly preferred).
• Proven ability to manage cost control, planning/scheduling, and reporting on billion-dollar+ construction projects.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, cost management tools, earned value methodologies, and progress tracking systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to develop custom dashboards and reporting tools is an asset.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills—able to work closely with senior leadership and project delivery teams.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry compliance and validation cycles is beneficial but not essential.
