About The Role

Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking a Senior Procurement Manager . This is a great opportunity to join a Global Engineering Consultancy working on major iconic Oil and Gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and leverage support craft volume procurement across the group to meet commercial objectives.
• Understand contractual and commercial processes to protect the group’s position.
• Prepare framework agreements & charter party agreements for support craft, leveraging discounts and early payment initiatives.
• Collaborate with logistics and vessels managers to source and procure support craft effectively.
• Assist in sourcing vessels from new markets to meet group demand.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of BIMCO suite of charter agreements.
• Recruit and manage the support craft procurement team.
• Prepare tender documents and manage procurement processes.
• Maintain relationships with vessel owners and resource pools.
• Lead strategic procurement processes aligned with customer needs.
• Participate in tender evaluations and prepare techno-commercial reports.
• Manage award recommendations and negotiations.
• Ensure bidders’ conformity to tender documentation.
• Provide governance, advice, and guidance on procurement activities.
• Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
• Perform additional operational tasks as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Additional qualifications in engineering, contractual, or procurement areas are desirable.
• Certifications like RICS, CIPS, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Minimum 12 years of procurement experience, preferably with support craft chartering.
• Deep knowledge of BIMCO contracts and complex tenders.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop team knowledge and skills.
• Results-oriented with effective communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems and involve supervisors when necessary.
