Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Senior/Principal Process Engineer in Preston, UK, focusing on Cement, Agriculture, Biomass, and Tunnelling. I am currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position of Senior / Principle Process Engineer for our client based in Preston

Currently have over million projects lined up and looking to grow the business by additional 10 by end 2025.

Salary £70,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension + Hybrid

Candidate Industry Background : Cement / Agriculture / Biomass / Tunnelling / Food

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the creation of process system designs, reviewing deliverables such as technical specs, calculations

Ensure all process/technical team outputs meet project specifications and comply with regulatory safety standards.

Lead design reviews to confirm systems meet project requirements.

Review and approve all process/technical work scopes and specifications.

Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all related business activities.

Accurately schedule and manage project resources, monitor task completion timelines, and support budget control within the assigned area.

Provide quote estimates and ensure tracking of awarded projects through the department.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BEng Hons) in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

Chartered or working towards is desirable not essential

Must have experience in H&M Balances, Equipment Sizing, Arrangement Drawings And Package Layouts in Senior / Lead role

Previous experience full project lifecycle from design / installation and handover

Extensive experience in designing and delivering process systems.

Proven track record in leading engineering teams for projects exceeding £5m in value.

Deep understanding of construction and process industries, including relevant standards.
