The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Primary Electrical Engineer to join our large and multidisciplinary engineering team across NSW and QLD.
You will hold both technical and supervisory responsibilities for the development of high-quality designs for primary high-voltage (HV) systems. You will support the Principal Engineers and develop designs associated with HV systems including cable rating, load flow, insulation coordination, earthing and lighting protection studies.
Joining our in-house Design & Engineering Team consisting of over 100 highly experienced professionals, you will provide excellence in primary, civil, structural buildings and site services engineering carried out internally by CPP or externally by consultants.
Bringing your experience with HV systems, you will be an integral part of our team and play a big part in the success of the various flagship projects CPP have won.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry
• Expertise in substation design and/or utility grid connections
• Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
• High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
