DNV is looking to hire a Senior Power System Engineer to join our team in Australia.
About Power Systems Planning at DNV:

Critical Attributes
• Demonstrated success in large scale renewable connections, registration and commissioning according to the Australian National Electricity Rules.
• Positive problem-solving mentality and great communication skills.
• Proficiency with power system analysis tools - PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Python.
• Key responsibilities and experience relevant for the role.
• Bachelor of electrical engineering / power systems (Masters viewed favourably).
• 7+ years of industry experience, with Australian work experience viewed favourably.
• Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage.
• Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks.
• Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients.
• Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client.
• Familiarity with applicable standards, i.e. IEC, IEEE.
• Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
Value Add
• Experience working in a transmission system operator considered an advantage.
