We have partnered with a global leading specialist manufacturing organisation, who are looking to appoint a Senior Health & Safety Manager at their large site in Somerset. You will be responsible for continuing to drive health, safety and environmental standards forward across the site.

The Senior Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
• Develop and implement the HSE strategy.
• You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be.
• You will drive cultural change, bringing HSE to the forefront.
• Coaching, managing and developing various senior stakeholders will be essential.
• Manage a team of direct reports.
• Management of ISO standards

The Senior Health & Safety Manager will have:
• Experience within a complex manufacturing and logistics environment.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent essential.
• Must have previous knowledge of management systems of ISO 14001, 45001.
• Personality, influencing skills and engagement are crucial.
• Experience/knowledge of PUWER, LOWLER and a highlt regulated environment.
