SummaryThe Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing both general and advanced maintenance tasks and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment and systems at the LNG production facility. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and mentoring junior technicians to maintain high operational standards.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on experience.Benefits: 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and more.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspect, monitor, and troubleshoot all equipment to ensure efficient operation.Perform advanced maintenance tasks on LNG production equipment including compressors, pumps, amine system, and control systems.Maintain plant equipment and structures per manufacturer and Clean Energy guidelines.Review daily maintenance reports, production reports, and other relevant records to ensure compliance.Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment.Work closely with operations and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities and support production goals.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities in CMMS, in compliance with Clean Energy and PSM requirements.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.Manage maintenance inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary tools and parts.Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance technicians, fostering continuous learning and improvement.Perform and complete other tasks as assigned by the LNG Plant Manager or Maintenance Manager.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no current supervisory responsibilities.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, 7+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of LNG production processes and equipment.Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, policies and procedures, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use logic and reasoning.Computer SkillsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
