Description

The Legal Counsel will support the Commercial & Industrial team in addressing all legal issues that arise during the planning, procurement, and construction of Commercial & Industrial solar and battery energy storage projects. This role involves structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements including EPC Agreements, service contracts, subcontracts, and other relevant construction agreements related to solar and energy storage projects. Additionally, the Legal Counsel will provide general legal support to finance, development, construction, and operations teams regarding matters associated with the construction and operation of renewable energy projects.

Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in relevant states
• 5+ years of legal experience in construction, energy, or corporate law
• Proven track record in negotiating and drafting contracts
• Strong understanding of renewable energy laws and regulations
