Description

The Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic environmental consulting firm in Northern California. Our team specializes in the planning, design, mitigation, and restoration of projects across communities, infrastructure systems, open spaces, and wildlands. We seek a mid- to senior-level professional who can perform and sometimes lead multifaceted landscape architecture tasks, leveraging at least five years of professional experience.

Skills
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in landscape architecture related system plans and master plans
• In-depth understanding of regulations and policies in landscape design
• Excellent judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prepare clear and concise documents

Responsibilities
• Serve as a technical specialist for recreation, urban, stormwater management, and ecosystem restoration studies
• Perform and lead field studies including site analysis and vegetation surveys
• Review development and environmental codes to support planning and design efforts
• Author landscape architecture documents including maps, renderings, and design drawings

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related environmental field
• At least five years of professional experience in landscape architecture
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks for project-based assignments
