Job Description:

Our client seeks a highly skilled Senior Investment Officer to contribute to the growth of their investment management business. This position offers a technically demanding environment where you can utilize your expertise to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Originate and negotiate investments to maximize returns
• Draft comprehensive term sheets to outline investment terms
• Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investees, including financial analysis and management meetings
• Prepare detailed screening memos and investment memos to inform decision-making
• Apply investment guidelines, committee decisions, and Environmental and Social (E&S) policies to ensure responsible investing
• Negotiate final investment agreements with legal counsel
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals
• Oversee investment and operational teams to optimize performance
Required Skills:
• Exceptional analytical abilities to drive informed decision-making
• Strong written and spoken communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Team player with capacity to learn new skills and adapt to changing circumstances
• Financial institutions analysis expertise
• Mezzanine or structured credit investing experience
• Impact investing knowledge
• Established network with prospective investees and investors
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to motivate teams
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in investment management with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• CFA or equivalent certification preferred
