Position Overview

ISS is seeking a highly experienced Owner’s Safety Representative to support the construction, commissioning, and startup of a solar power plant in Cynthiana, KY. This role will act as the on-site extension of the Owner’s EHS team, ensuring all activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Represent the Owner’s EHS interests on-site during all phases of the project
• Monitor and enforce safety compliance across construction and commissioning activities
• Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders on multi-employer worksite safety
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with simultaneous operations
• Support startup and early operations with a strong safety focus

Requirements
• Proven experience as a management-level safety advisor on large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of solar project construction and operations
• Skilled in managing multi-employer worksites and complex operational environments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
