ClearBlue Infrastructure Group is seeking a results-driven Senior Estimator to lead the charge in identifying, bidding, and winning large-scale commercial, utility, and energy infrastructure projects across North America. This is a high-impact, remote position for a seasoned estimator who thrives on strategy, competition, and accuracy. You'll work with cutting-edge tech and a top-tier team, influencing some of the most ambitious projects in the market.

Key Responsibilities
• Source and pursue high-value public and private sector bids across North America.
• Lead the full estimating cycle: takeoffs, cost analysis, scope review, proposal preparation, and bid submission.
• Analyze pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors; maintain up-to-date cost databases.
• Prepare accurate conceptual and detailed estimates including hard bids, design-build, and cost-plus models.
• Leverage estimating software tools such as ProEst, RS Means, Bluebeam, and Trimble.
• Incorporate strategic bid tactics, value engineering, and risk assessments to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal departments including project management, engineering, and finance to align bid strategies.
• Track bid-win ratios, cost trends, and market insights to refine future estimating approaches.
• Maintain strong subcontractor and supplier relationships to ensure the most competitive pricing.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction estimating with a successful bid-win track record.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction is preferred, but not required
• Expertise in commercial, infrastructure, energy, and utility estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating tools: ProEst, RS Means, CostX, Bluebeam, Trimble, or similar.
• Proven ability to win competitive bids across both public and private sectors.
• Experience with unit pricing, lump sum, cost-plus, and design-build bid formats.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and cost control measures.
• Financial acumen to assess risks, analyze margins, and optimize project profitability.
• Extensive network of subcontractors and suppliers across North America.
Bonus Points For
• Experience with BESS, EV charging, solar, and renewable infrastructure projects.
• CEC or PQS professional designation.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth infrastructure company.

Schedule
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Flexible hours with travel as needed
Work Location:
