Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Scientist/Engineer for our Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice in Burlington MA. Other locations will be considered. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide technical analysis on existing projects and business development efforts.
You will be responsible for
• Providing support to clients and to your team in Exponents Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice
• Supporting multidisciplinary project teams on exciting and challenging projects
• Investing in your professional development
• Attending conference presentations and participating in journal publications
• Expanding your professional visibility
• Developing client relationships

You will have the following skills and qualifications
• Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry Environmental Engineering or a related field. . or . with relevant experience will be considered.
• Environmental litigation support experience with a consulting company in the USA is a plus
• 3 years of nonacademic experience in the field of environmental sciences (consulting experience a plus)
• Familiarity with environmental chemistry contaminant fate and transport and/or allocation is a plus
• Strong interest in career and professional development within a dynamic consulting environment
• Excellent communication organization and writing skills
• Detail oriented able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
