Senior Environmental Planner/Land Use Professional

P. W. Grosser Consulting is hiring a Senior Environmental Planner/Land Use Professional in Bohemia, NY. The role requires 10 years of experience with SEQRA documentation and client management. PWGC is seeking a senior environmental or land use professional to join its SEQRA and environmental permitting team. This professional will work as a senior staff member and will be tasked with providing environmental and land use consulting services to both municipal and private sector clients. The position requires 10 years of experience in preparing and reviewing documents under SEQRA, as well as client and project management. This position also requires the ability to manage and mentor staff members.

Responsibilities include:
• Review and preparation of EAFs, EISs, and similar environmental review documentation.
• Review and preparation of permit applications.
• Preparation of variance and special permit analyses, and similar land use analyses.
• Attendance and participation in public meetings and hearings.
• Preparation of project budgets and proposals.
• Management of the financial aspects of all contracts in consideration of the scope and fee, as well as client and statutory timeframes.

Minimum Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience as a consultant for a minimum of 8 years.
• Demonstrated experience with public meetings and hearings.
• Knowledge of the SEQRA process, as well as the relevant environmental and land use regulations.
• Excellent writing skills with experience in preparation of EAFs and EISs.
• M.S. degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies or similar.

Full-time/Exempt
Salary Range: $100,000-115,000
