Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement site-specific Environmental, Health & Safety programs, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with the wider Environmental, Health & Safety teams to drive safety initiatives.
• Maintain and promote adherence to enterprise policies and ensure all regulations are met at the site level.
• Develop and revise rules, regulations, and operating procedures to reduce safety risks and hazards.
• Participate in cross-facility Environmental, Health & Safety audits to ensure consistency and top performance across the enterprise.
• Establish a strategic annual goal-setting plan aimed at eliminating workplace injuries and accidents.
• Monitor and analyze Environmental, Health & Safety data to identify trends and address areas of concern.
• Lead initiatives to obtain or maintain OSHA VPP Star compliance.
• Stay updated on safety-related legislative and regulatory changes.
• Foster a culture of safety through effective investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Oversee and develop the local Environmental, Health & Safety team.
• Manage OSHA compliance, employee health, wellness programs, and training needs.
• Provide guidance for the onsite medical clinic and first responder teams.
• Engage in pilot programs for enterprise safety initiatives.
• Mentor and lead fellow EHS team members.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Understand environmental standards and regulations and ensure compliance at the facility.
• Act as the primary contact for any agency inspections and internal audits.
• Implement necessary corrective actions to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:
• Expertise in OSHA standards specific to manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of organizations such as Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), NIOSH, and the National Safety Council.
• Ability to analyze safety data and provide data-driven solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• In-depth understanding of Workers' Compensation processes and Environmental programs.
• Ability to travel and perform facility walkthroughs.
• Experience with EPA, State, and Local regulations.
• 10+ years in safety-related roles, including at least 5 years in management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• OSHA Voluntary Protection Program experience highly desirable.
• Willingness to pursue additional safety certifications.

Compensation: $118,500 - $145,000 annually
