The Senior Environmental Geologist / Environmental Project Manager will play a crucial role in leading environmental investigation and remediation projects. This position involves managing a team of environmental staff to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely completion of projects that meet and exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing large and complex projects related to soil and groundwater assessments and remediation while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Skills
• 10+ years of experience in environmental investigation and remediation projects
• Strong project management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, civil/environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field
• Professional Geologist (PG) certification or similar relevant registration
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience in technical writing and regulatory reporting
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification and current 8-hour refresher

Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate environmental project staff and subcontractors
• Serve as the technical lead for large and complex environmental projects
• Author and review work plans and reports
• Assist in business development and preparation of proposals
• Supervise environmental support personnel and mentor staff
• Maintain client relationships and manage client expectations

Qualifications
• 10+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of high-quality work products
• Experience in managing diverse field teams
• Familiarity with regulations such as CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, and SDWA preferred

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, civil/environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category
• Professional Geologist (PG) or similar professional registration

Experience Requirements
• At least 10 years of experience in planning and executing environmental projects
• Demonstrated environmental project management experience
