Senior Environmental Consultant

ALRA is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant for a site-based role in Adelaide, working on the River Torrens to Darlington Project. The position involves environmental site supervision, monitoring, and reporting related to contaminated land. Candidates should have 1-7 years of experience and a relevant degree. The role offers a salary of up to $120,000 plus superannuation and provides opportunities for diverse work in contaminated sites across Australia.

Whilst a Senior Environmental Consultant in Contaminated Land working for an Australia-wide Environmental Consultancy, you will be site based working on the River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project.

The role looks like this:
• Provide environmental site supervision, monitoring and reporting for soil, groundwater and dust being removed
• Get involved in Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI), Detailed Site Investigations (DSI), Field Work, and reporting
• Whilst this sits in a consultancy, no utilisation is measured so you can focus on doing the work
• Sitting in a CLM team of 20 in Adelaide, and a wider national team of 50+
• Work directly with the JV partners and Dept of Infrastructure and Transport to deliver these works

Beyond this project, the pipeline of contaminated sites work is plentiful, both locally in SA and nationally, exposing opportunity for you to get involved in a wide variety of work both here and interstate (if desired).

Experience:
• We need someone who loves being in the field, and hence the net is cast wide at 1-7 years experience.
• BSc or Engineering required and experience in the field doing sampling, reporting and contaminated land management.
