The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in providing environmental services across a range of infrastructure, renewables, and other key projects. This role involves:
• Preparation of environmental deliverables - drafting planning advice, environmental impact assessments and management plans.
• Team collaboration – coordinating technical specialists, subcontractors, and contributing to a multi-disciplinary team.
• Client engagement – working closely with clients to ensure project expectations are met and exceeded.
• Project management– delivering on time and on budget. Winning work – supporting business development by contributing to proposals.

Your Impact
• Provide sound environmental advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare well-written environmental impact assessments (SEEs, REFs and EISs) and management plans (CEMPs) to support clients in obtaining planning approvals and/or meeting approval conditions
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, budgets, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and company processes.

About You
• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in environmental planning and assessment.
• A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field.
• Excellent writing skills in particular the ability to summarise technical information in plain English
• Working knowledge of NSW environmental legislation
• Proven ability to manage projects under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
