About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Approvals Specialist to support, manage, and deliver environmental and government approvals for projects spanning renewables, ports, rail, and mining sectors across Western Australia. This role offers the opportunity to work with a committed and energetic team, preparing approvals documentation, managing regulatory applications, and engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and deliver Part IV/EPBC and government environmental approvals
• Prepare and submit environmental approvals documents and applications
• Consult and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants
• Manage environmental impact assessments and biological studies
• Scope, commission, and oversee environmental surveys and supporting studies
• Engage with regulators, Traditional Owner groups, and government agencies
• Provide environmental approvals advice to internal stakeholders
• Actively contribute to team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and peer support

Skills And Experience Required
• Strong background in environmental approvals (Part IV/EPBC preferred)
• Experience in consulting, mining, or similar industries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Experience with Microsoft applications (ArcGIS experience desirable)
• Ability to work effectively with diverse and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities
