We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Emissions Engineer to Join our Engineering and Planning team in Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth on a Permanent Full Time Contract.

Reporting to the Team Lead Process Engineering and Optimisation, you will play a key role in delivering emissions reduction across APA’s gas portfolio and supporting APA’s continued emissions performance growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Execute emission reduction strategies on operating assets through changed operating practices and asset modifications.
• Support and develop processes to embed emissions reduction into operating assets, track the ongoing benefit, and project future performance
• Execute analysis, visualisation, and reporting rhythms to support routine reporting and insights.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive reduction in emissions considering reliability, security of energy supply and safe asset operation, whilst closely liaising with the Operations Emissions Lead.
• Develop and submit proposals for minor capital projects to support emission reduction.

Your background
• Tertiary qualification and/or relevant work experience in related discipline such as engineering
• Proven collaboration and influencing skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to be resilient and adaptable, comfortable with change and juggling multiple projects and working to tight deadlines and operating rhythms.
• Nimble and interested in making a difference in an emerging area in the business

The Process Engineering and Optimisation team is an integral part of the Engineering and Planning team at APA. The team is key provider of technical support to the operation of a broad range of energy assets and is focused on putting into action APA’s vision and purpose to be world class in energy solutions and strengthen communities through responsible energy.
